Journal of Sustainable Economies
The Journal of Sustainable Economies (JSE), a new interdisciplinary journal committed to advancing knowledge on sustainable economic practices and policies, is seeking a visionary and dedicated Editor-in-Chief to lead its editorial team.
Owned by Notre Dame University-Louaize in collaboration with Northeastern University and published by Luminous Insights as a Platinum Open Access journal, JSE aims to become a leading platform for high-quality research and innovative thought in sustainability and its intersections with economics, policy, and societal impact.
Responsibilities of the Editor-in-Chief
The Editor-in-Chief will:
- Provide strategic direction to establish JSE as a high-impact journal in the field.
- Oversee the peer review and editorial processes to ensure the publication of high-quality and timely research.
- Collaborate with the editorial board, reviewers, and authors to maintain rigorous ethical standards.
- Promote the journal to attract high-quality submissions and enhance its visibility globally.
- Foster interdisciplinary contributions and inclusivity in research themes and methodologies.
- Represent the journal at academic events and within the broader research community.
Qualifications
We are seeking a highly respected scholar or professional with the following qualifications:
- Expertise in sustainability and economics or related interdisciplinary fields.
- A proven track record of high-quality publications and editorial experience.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity.
- Vision for advancing the journal's mission and reputation.
- Familiarity with open-access publishing models is an advantage.
