JSM's CiteScore was 1.1 in 2024, and as of January 2025, the CiteScore Tracker has already reached 2.3. If this trend continues, the journal is on track to more than double its CiteScore–a powerful signal of growing visibility and influence in the field.

We are also pleased to share meaningful progress on the indexing front. JSM has successfully passed two out of three evaluation stages for inclusion in Web of Science (ESCI collection). The journal has been under evaluation since January 2024, and while the process is still ongoing, this progress marks an important milestone.
