Department of Marketing, Shidler College of Business, University of Hawaii at Manoa, Honolulu, United States | United States View MoreResearch Innovations in Sustainable Marketing – RISM 2025 is the first global symposium that brings together scholars and practitioners who want to share their insights on the successful integration of the triple bottom line – economic success, environmental stewardship, and supply chain equity – across the marketing function from new product development to post-consumption. The RISM 2025 symposium will be held in person in Madrid, Spain on May 27, 2025 as a prelude of the 53rd EMAC Conference hosted by ESIC University.
In addition to a distinguished global keynote speaker and concurrent sessions, RISM2025 will hold roundtable discussion sessions to facilitate connections among scholars and across practitioners with similar research interests. RISM 2025 is endorsed by business schools around the world and will provide a unique opportunity to build global ties among individuals who are committed to ESG – environmental, social and governance stewardship and sustainable marketing.
The RISM Organizing Committee is requesting and is keen to receive abstracts (800 word limit) as well as fully developed manuscripts (10,000 word limit). All submissions will be double blind reviewed. Accepted manuscripts will be eligible* for publication in the Journal of Sustainable Marketing (JSM). Accepted abstracts will be published in the RISM2025 Proceedings and will be available online. Conceptual, qualitative, and quantitative research submissions along with case studies are welcome.
The symposium will begin at 13:00 GMT and will end at 17:30 GMT. Financial support from the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawai‘i enables RISM2025 to offer free registration for Symposium attendees. However, as RISM2025 is a part of EMAC, participants will have to become EMAC members to participate in the symposium. This will be the only charge they are asked to pay. If they wish to participate in the full EMAC Conference, they will also have to pay the EMAC Conference fee.
*: The final decision on acceptance/rejection for publication in the Journal of Sustainable Marketing is by the Journal Editor and not by track chairs
